Our Story
The Anchor Inn
Sean took the helm at the Anchor relatively recently in 2018 but records show the history of the pub goes back to at least 1813 with the story of the pub becoming much clearer from 1853 onwards where we can trace its custodianship continuously until the present day.
Both a vital hub for village locals and also a warm and friendly place for travellers to call in, Sean honours all the old-fashioned values of a village pub offering great food, a well-pulled pint and a welcome for all.
